		<description>Another point to think of is that time moves old data down.  I have lots of old web pages that are lost in the searches now due to the passage of time. 

And you are right - if you want an employee who is part of the web culture, they will have that website out there, whether MySpace or some other. 

Even from the point of view of security clearances - it is secrets that can be leveraged that make for vulnerabilities, if it is on the web it's already out maybe they are less of a security risk. (Assuming they can not twitter national secrets. :))</description>
